Craig and Heather ~ Love

Here is the cutest couple from our ward. They are the biggest crack up, everything they say, Peter and I find ourselves rolling on the floor laughing. They are also two of the most sincere and caring people I have ever met. It was such an honor to take some family pictures of them partially for Christmas and mostly just-because!

The lighting in this field was INCREDIBLE! I have been dying to use a field with loads of texture and depth in my photographs. I was so glad they were willing to trek out there and have some fun.

Thanks so much Craig and Heather for allowing me to capture the sweet love you two share.

Wedding Bells for Nate and Xana!

My husband's best friend from elementary school got married a few weeks ago and they asked me to be their photographer! It was a lot of fun and both of their families were a blast!
I don't really understand what is going on with this picture - once I get it fixed, I will re-post it so you can see the true colors... right now it is doing that weird negative coloring.

Xana looked amazing in the dress her mom made! Her mother also made all the bridesmaid dresses, ties for the groom and groomsmen, vests for the little boys, as well as her own dress. I was WAY impressed! The colors they chose for the wedding were the beautiful rich colors of fall so everything looked very elegant and warm.

It was so fun to be with these two on their wedding day. You could tell they were SO excited! Everyone was way tired because they had all stayed up REALLY late the night before putting last minute touches on everything from the wedding video to the dresses. It all went off without a hitch!

Thanks Nate and Xana for allowing me to document your beautiful day! Best wishes!

Family Session

So here are a few pics of the little family I shot last Thursday. Sorry it has been so long in coming, this past week got a little hectic (as life sometimes does... right?) Well hope you enjoy these cute people as much as I did!

Oh and exciting news... today I will be photographing my friend's post bridal shots! I am so excited to do a mild trash the dress around Salt Lake City!

More of the Wedding

As a was editing through more of those wedding pictures from a few weeks ago I just loved how they turned out and so thought I just had to share some more with  you! Ooo now doesn't that make you hungry for some fruit?

A shot from the ceremony.
This was just after the ceremony, walking down the stairs as man and wife. Here are the Bride's brothers who were being SO careful when bringing out the cake.

Also, on Thursday I will be second shooting a family for Stayner Photography

Sneak Peak!

Here is just a little sneak peak of a recent wedding I shot last weekend.

Ok, so not a "little" sneak but I have so many great images from this wedding and I am not even half way done editing the pictures. They were such a beautiful couple! Thanks Luke and Michelle for allowing me to photograph your beautiful day!

Trish's Maternity Session

Just recently did this maternity shoot. Trish was beautiful and just about ready to pop. She is currently due any day now we are just waiting to hear when their little bundle of joy pops out! She and her husband decided to wait and let the gender of the baby be a surprise so it is all a mystery! I will keep you updated and let you know what they have. Aren't they just the cutest people ever! This "love" sign was something that I have been wanting to do for a while but kept forgetting. The "love" sign is something special to me because Peter does it to me all the time... I love my husband.

Hello MODEL! She was telling me just before the session how she was not very photogenic... I think not.

This has to be one of my favorites of the whole session! I can't quite explain why but I just LOVE IT!

I tried finding those little wooden blocks with letters on them so I could use them as props but I couldn't find them anywhere! No one carries them anymore. So I had to make due with what I had which was a transformer fire truck/hummer and a Linnia Doll.

Marissa and Chris

I had an AMAZING time doing my first engagement session for my best friend from high school! She and her man - Chris - are getting married in June. I am SO excited for her.
As you can tell they were really fun to work with - ha ha!
This was taken at one of my favorite places in Salt Lake City, Sam Wellers Book Store.

Aren't they the cutest? They fit eachother so well. I can't wait for the big day!
